Measurement of Success

Realistic flooring images which could be used to show the quality and finish of Havwood Flooring products.

The Challenge

Havwood Flooring approached D Cube after being unsuccessful in their search for hyper-realistic CGI of their flooring products. Havwoods wanted to create a portfolio of images which best portrayed the high quality flooring they had on offer.

The Approach

The approach for D Cube was to ensure that the flooring material was as close to the original as possible. As the portfolio images were for the showroom, D Cube also wanted to ensure that the images represented the floors in residential spaces to allow for better client visualisation in store.

The Solution

The solution for D Cube was to ensure that the flooring materials looked as realistic as possible, with the grains and notches in the wood fitting perfectly with the type of material. The client’s knowledge of flooring material paired with D Cube’s knowledge of interior design meant that the flooring was portrayed to a high quality and matched the other items in the room to be as realistic as possible.
